Turned Wood Stemware
A fancy term for wine glasses with wooden stems, our stemware features different wood species and glass styles - you can pick and choose, buy matched sets or mix it up. The most common species we use for bases are, on the domestic side:
Black Walnut, Sugar Maple, Spalted Maple, Cherry, Apricot, Applewood, Ash, Red Oak, Orange Osage, and Locust,
and on the exotic side:
Mahogany, Padauk, Zebrawood, Marblewood, Canarywood, Rosewoods of various types, Bloodwood, Lignum Vitae, Purpleheart, and Wenge. The latter is our favorite stem wood, but again, anything is possible. Wood species sometimes limited due to non-availability. See page bottom for glass styles...
