About Our Website
Since most of our business is done locally - through craft shows, music festivals, and the several local stores we supply - with a few exceptions we do not list prices here, preferring to use these pages to show the kinds of pieces we craft. Don't hesitate to contact us for pricing if something strikes your fancy. We will ship to just about anywhere.
Among the non-wood pages to note is the "Pure Maple Syrup" page, which details that (for now largely defunct) aspect of our business, with plenty of facts and photos depicting our "sugarin'" operation. On that note, "The Sugar Shack" is simply a free-for-all exercise in self-expression, and the Poetry Page is just what the name implies. Know a great work poem? Send it to us.
"Backstory "
Finally, because we believe that a hand crafted object is more INTERESTING when we know something about its provenance, whether it be the inspiration for it's creation, the materials used, or some other aspect of it's being, throughout this site you will occasionally see the highlighted word Backstory - followed by exactly that - wherever we think a piece has an interesting story to tell. Perhaps the best examples are stories behind the "Nana Buttons" and "Aunt Dorothy Coins" we're so fond of incorporating into certain pieces. Judge for yourself. Enjoy the site! Cheers,
Neil
